Hey Reader - I’ve spoken to 223 photographers over the past nine months. Want to know how many of them brought up profit? Almost none. Now revenue? Big bookings. Six-figure months. New gear. New Instagram strategies. But profit? Not one said, “I really want to increase my profit.” And that should concern us. Because revenue is loud. Revenue buys the shiny lens. Revenue makes you feel important. Revenue is what you post about. Back in 2022, I wrote my fourth book. Cover designed. Proofread. The title? I knew after COVID things were shifting. Margins mattered again. And then I stopped. Pulled the plug. Maybe I thought people weren’t ready. Because let’s be honest. But funny how life works. After 223 conversations. Celebrating revenue. Incredible talent. I’m done avoiding it. Yes, we are camera-focused. But from here forward? We’re profit-focused too. If you’re reading the Daily Focus emails, you’ll notice it. More clarity. More talk about margins, pricing, expenses, and sustainability. Because talent without profit? And I don’t want you running a hobby. So keep reading. And this time? Let's start from the beginning! ~ Scott Scott Proposki, I am a Former National Geographic 🌎 and White House Event Photographer If this isn’t your vibe, no hard feelings whatsoever. Unsubscribe |
Now I send one quick daily email revealing the exact steps I used to rebuild — simple, ADHD-friendly systems that work. It’s called The Focus Daily Email.
